Murali is a multidisciplinary artist with experience in screenwriting, poetry, advertising, photography, and visual arts. As a former Creative Director at Grey Cells Productions, he has worked on documentaries, feature film scripts, and children’s television. He has also written award-winning edutainment content and short films.

Beginning his career in documentary filmmaking in 2014, Lakhinandan has worked across feature films, short formats, advertising, and international screenwriting. With a background in journalism and cinema studies, he is currently developing new projects for film and web, with a documentary on marriage equality in India set to release in fall 2025.
