EHP’s Training & Education programmes are built around the practice of making theatre.
Whether working with professional artists, emerging performers, students or young people encountering theatre for the first time, the emphasis is on learning through doing. Participants are given practical ways to explore performance, develop their skills and discover how they work as individuals and as part of an ensemble.
The programmes draw on theatre’s rich traditions of acting, voice, movement and performance, while remaining responsive to the people in the room and the work being undertaken. Curiosity, discipline, play and a willingness to take risks are central to the process.
